The SAN24B-5 switch ships with the first 12 ports activated in the base product, with an additional increment of 12 ports that can be enabled on demand. Additional port activation is available with this optional feature to enable additional 12 to 24 ports. The port activation feature does not include fiber optic transceivers; however, all activated ports must be populated with transceivers.
